We Don't Believe in CrossFit Because It's Hard. We Believe in It Because It Works.

Why We Believe in CrossFit

I've been coaching CrossFit for over 15 years.

In that time, I've watched people lose over 100 pounds.

I've watched members come off blood pressure medications.

I've watched first responders pass the CPAT after struggling for months.

I've watched people perform their first pull-up after believing it would never happen.

I've watched grandparents get on the floor with their grandkids again.

I've watched complete strangers become lifelong friends.

I’ve seen people find their spouse within our 4 walls!

And I've watched hundreds of people completely change the way they see themselves.

That's why I believe so strongly in CrossFit.

Not because it's trendy.

Not because it's the hardest workout.

Because it works.

One thing that makes me especially proud of CrossFit 8 Mile is that our members talk about the workouts when they leave reviews. But thats not what really fills my cup with their reviews.

Instead, they talk about the coaches who genuinely care.

They talk about walking in terrified and immediately feeling welcomed.

They talk about accountability, friendships, encouragement, and a community that celebrates everyone's victories, not just the fastest person in the room.

To me, that's the greatest compliment we could ever receive.

Because life doesn't happen inside the gym.

It happens while carrying groceries.

Helping a friend move.

Playing with your kids.

Taking the stairs without getting winded.

Passing the physical test for your dream career.

Traveling without worrying whether your body can keep up.

Being healthy enough to enjoy the next chapter of your life.

That's what we're training for.

At CrossFit 8 Mile, we're not trying to create CrossFit Games athletes.

We're trying to help ordinary people become stronger, healthier, and more capable than they were yesterday.

After more than 15 years of coaching, I still believe CrossFit is one of the best investments someone can make in their health.

Not because it's the easiest path.

But because it works.

And after watching thousands of lives change inside these four walls, I wouldn't want to coach anything else.
