Ninja Recognition: Kaylynne Perian

Why Kaylynne?

We’re excited to recognize Kaylynne as our next Ninja Recognition — an honor that’s well deserved.

Over the past few years, Kaylynne has shown outstanding consistency, and anyone who’s been in class with her knows she puts in the work day after day. Her hard work, grit, and determination have paid off in a big way, resulting in impressive strength gains across the board. She doesn’t look for shortcuts — she shows up, stays focused, and trusts the process.

One area where her progress has really shined is Olympic weightlifting. Kaylynne has developed a strong passion for the snatch and the clean & jerk, and it shows. At our recent in-house weightlifting meet, she absolutely crushed it — confidently hitting new PRs in both the snatch and clean & jerk. Watching her step onto the platform and execute those lifts was a perfect example of what consistent effort over time can achieve.

Beyond her physical progress, Kaylynne is an absolute joy to have in class. She’s receptive to coaching, applies feedback thoughtfully, and is always eager to improve. Her competitive spirit pushes everyone around her to be better, raising the energy in the room and inspiring others to work a little harder. Just as importantly, she’s a supportive teammate — cheering others on, celebrating wins big and small, and contributing to the positive atmosphere that makes our gym such a special place.

Kaylynne truly embodies what it means to be a great member of our community: hardworking, coachable, competitive in the best way, and incredibly supportive. We’re so proud of everything she’s accomplished and can’t wait to see what she continues to achieve.

Congrats, Kaylynne — this one’s for you! 💪🔥

Your CrossFit Story: How did you get started?

When I went on to play soccer in college, CrossFit became a staple of my summer training, helping me stay strong, conditioned, and ready for each season. After graduating, CrossFit naturally evolved into my primary way to stay active, challenge myself, and maintain a healthy, competitive lifestyle.

Favorite movements:

My favorite movements are clean and jerks, double-unders, sit-ups, and kettlebell swings.

Least favorite movements:

My least favorite movements are sled pushes and wall walks

Goals:

My main fitness goal is to stay in shape and keep feeling strong, but I’d also love to compete in an Olympic weightlifting meet at some point.
